Learning Research Service Volunteer Engagement

The Prince Edward Island-Tasmania Writers' Exchange is an annual exchange of writers-in-residence between Tasmania and Prince Edward Island, sponsored by the UPEI Dean of Arts, Department of English, and Institute of Island Studies, and the PEI Writers' Guild. Recently returned from his month at the writers' cottage in Hobart is Dr. Richard Lemm from the Department of English. In 2007 Deirdre Kessler was the Island's visiting writer. UPEI hosted Tasmanian poet and publisher Tim Thorne in 2008, and fiction writer Danielle Wood in 2006.
